Samsung’s latest wearables, the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit, have gone on sale today, but more wrist-bound devices are coming.

The humorously named Martian Notifier smartwatch has previously been displayed at CES 2014 and now the company behind it has announced that the device will go on sale in June.

The Martian combines analog time telling with Bluetooth-connected notifications and voice control. Notifications from your phone are displayed on the watch, which has a reddish look, reminiscent of Mars.

The Martian Notifier is a fashionable smartwatch that was designed with the budget-conscious consumer in mind. The smartwatch comes bundled with what’s called the Smart Notifications App, which lets users filter the received notifications.

Users can customize vibration patterns for each type of alert, so you’ll be able to tell if you have received a message or a notification from social media, without looking at the watch’s screen.

Martian Notifier has an OLED display that relays all kinds of notifications, including Caller ID, Calendar, Weather, Text, Email, Facebook, Twitter, bank alerts, and news headlines.

With a single touch to the Notifier button, you can get the smartphone’s speakerphone to be activated, allowing users to use voice commands to control music, get direction, search the web and more.

The Martian smartwatch will arrive at major retailers on June 1 for $179 / €129 a pop.
