What do you know, Martha Stewart is just another early MacBook Air adopter, who has also expressed thoughts on Apple's marvelous laptop on her blog recently. The American business magnate, author, editor and homemaking advocate (and ex-con) simply loves her new notebook, but still uses her older HP laptop for... diversity.

"I was so excited when my new MacBook Air arrived the other day," says Mrs. Stewart on her blog. "When I opened the box and examined this laptop, I was amazed by how razor thin and how light it is - just .76 of an inch and only 3 pounds. It has a full-size illuminated keyboard, which is terrific for working in a dimly lit car or on an airplane. And I really love the trackpad, which works in much the same way as the Apple iPhone, giving you many more options by simply moving your fingers."

Undoubtedly, one of the MacBook Air's best features is indeed its multi-touch trackpad. Sure enough, Apple took a big chance leaving out so many features, but its reduced size and weight along with the gesture-based functionality do make up for the lacking parts.

"I also use an HP laptop on a regular basis because I like to be well versed on both platforms and be able to multi-task," prior to being advised by one of her readers to use Parallels and run Windows on the Air too, and stop holding on to that HP laptop (quite an Apple fanatic huh?). "Both computers sit side by side on my desk in my kitchen and having them right there together is very convenient for me," continues Martha's post.

Mrs. Stewart has specifically updated her post to let everyone know that she IS aware of Parallels, but prefers to use both laptops to have her "email and schedule up on one, while browsing the Web on the other." Also, Martha's assistants "all seem to have different preferences," and she's proud to be offering them diversity, as far as operating systems go.

As you can see, the American business woman's dog, Sharkey, is also into the super slim notebook.

"The MacBook Air is truly a technological thing of beauty," Mrs. Stewart concludes. "When it's not traveling on the road with me, it looks great on my desk as you can see here," the post ends.

So, what are we supposed to understand, that when it IS on the move, it doesn't look that great...?
