Mark Zuckerberg is back in the Google+ top users, having removed the restriction disabling others from seeing who has added him to a circle. The same goes for some top Google execs, which had also fallen off the radar and which are now back in the running.

Unsurprisingly, Mark Zuckerberg is still king of the hill with a massive following of 184,000 Google+ users. He gained almost 20,000 new followers yesterday.

He's doing so well that he has more than double the followers his closest competitor has, which is Google CEO Larry Page with almost 95,000 followers.

Rounding up the top three is the second founder of Google, Sergey Brin with 71,000 followers. The numbers are interesting, but they seem to be indicating that people are just adding them to their circles in the hopes of getting some big words of wisdom from the leaders.

Which is not exactly happening, if Zuckerberg is doing anything on Google+, he's doing it privately and he hasn't posted anything publicly until now. Regardless, his follower numbers continue to rise.

At least Larry Page has started saying something, he reposted his words from the earning call after the quarterly financial report at the company. It's not exactly engaging with the audience, but it's a start.

If you want to find a popular Google+ users who has actually engaged with the site, that's Vic Gundotra, Google's head of social products, which means, yes, Google+.

In a perfect example of doing what you preach, he's been fairly active on the site, posting updates and reposting useful or interesting stuff from other Google people.

Granted, he's been posting mostly stuff related to Google+, but it's still a start. And it may be just right for who's in Google+ right now, there may be 10 million users, but as these statistics indicate, they geek crowd has a strong presence.
