Marisa Miller for Victoria’s Secret – minus an arm and a normal-sized ribcage

Photoshop accidents do happen but it’s strange that they occur with Victoria’s Secret as well, the one company being able to boast it has the most gorgeous women on the planet modeling for it. Marisa Miller seems to have misplaced an arm.

On the company’s website, in the Tees section, Marisa is seen modeling a tee deemed the hottest polo available. So hot it is, apparently, that it even melted off one of her arms.

“Preppy gets pretty with a slim fit, down-to-there neckline and puff sleeves. The most fashionable fit, day in and day out. Polka dot detail inside collar. Imported cotton piqué/spandex,” Victoria’s Secret writes.

What’s off with the picture (also attached to this article), as Jezebel points out, is that Miller is missing an entire arm – that, or she’s doing some kind of weird yoga stretch.

As if that wasn’t enough, whoever butchered this Angel also went to great lengths to make her ribcage so small it’s almost the same size as her neck, which, of course, doesn’t happen in real life.

“It’s great that Victoria’s Secret is finally diversifying its models by including amputees and all, but I’m pretty sure Marisa Miller has two arms and a ribcage that looks just fine sans digital whittling,” Jezebel writes with a heavy dose of sarcasm.

As several other media outlets have also pointed out, this is the Angels we’re talking about, arguably the most beautiful models in the world – and the highest paid as well.

The company should probably realize that, by going to such lengths to make them slimmer and even better looking than they are (a nearly impossible feat, arguably), it’s only making them appear weird and botched, it’s being said.

Of course, this is not the first time that this type of accidents happen. In August last year, Ann Taylor did the same, photoshopping the waist of one model until it looked as if on the point of snapping in two under the sheer weight of her body.

Unlike Victoria’s Secret now, though, Ann Taylor apologized for the blunder – and replaced the airbrushed photo with a better one.
