14 DAY TRIAL // Yesterday, I reported that Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital after dislocating her shoulder, presumably after falling off her high heels on the set of a new music video. Her husband Nick Cannon said the injury was actually more serious.
Nick was on The Today show hours ago to promote a new project but, before he got down to business, he talked a bit about his wife’s mishap.
Above is a pic Mariah tweeted from the hospital bed, with the caption / announcement that she’d be sporting “a very fashionable sling for the next couple of weeks.”
Nick revealed on the show, as you will see in the video below, that Mariah had fallen off her high heels. However, she was also standing on a platform, which means the fall was steeper than previously believed.
She also cracked a rib, he said.
Always a real “trouper,” Mariah returned on the music video set that same night, after doctors put her shoulder back.
