Not only that, but reports also have it that she’s got a couple of great songs already, which will hopefully fare better than those included on the previous album.
“The-Dream just dropped his new single ‘My Love,’ which features Mariah Carey, but that’s not all the two have been up to lately. As it turns out, not all is only hard work and no play for Mariah, as the same sources claim to have from reliable tipsters that a few tracks are already completed, and they’re positively awesome while we’re at it. “According to The-Dream, Mariah is already working on a new album and he’s been producing some hot new tracks for her.” the aforementioned sources add. Also, to give us a faint idea of just what type of hotness we’re to expect from Mariah’s forthcoming album, it is added that “The-Dream is responsible for producing Mariah’s huge hit ‘Touch My Body’ off her current album E=MC2.”
The moment this got out on the Internet, fans have been quick to rush to the forums to share their joy at the news. Some of them even went as far as saying that, maybe, the upcoming album will bring an end to the “bubble-gum mediocrity” of such tracks as “Touch My Body,” which plays too much on Mariah’s image and takes too little advantage of her impressive voice and not at all trifling experience, bringing about quality music that lasts throughout the years, the kind she used to make until not long ago.
