Do you remember Margot Robbie, that stunning blond actress from “The Wolf of Wall Street”? Of course you do, that's not a performance one soon forgets. Well, the Australian stunner is making headlines these days with her possible role in the movie adaptation of the popular Japanese manga “Ghost in the Shell.”

The Wrap reports that there are plans being made for a live-action adaptation of the cartoon and that these plans include Margot Robbie. The story in the manga takes place in a futuristic Tokyo, where a member of a covert ops unit in the Japanese National Public Safety Commission tries to uncover a technology-related crime.

The movie, which is said to be a pet project of director Steven Spielberg, is being produced by Avi Arad and Steven Paul, based on a Bill Wheeler script. The director for the film is Rupert Sanders, known to you for his production “Snow White and the Huntsman,” as well as for his illicit on-set romance with actress Kristen Stewart.

Margot Robbie is currently wrapping up filming on her latest project, “Tarzan,” with Alexander Skarsgard. She has previously worked on “Focus” with Will Smith and “Z For Zachariah” with Chiwelel Ejiofor and Chris Pine.
