Footage from the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday reveals that chivalry is either dead, or busy watching a baseball game.

This video, posted by Bleacher Report, captures the moment in which a girl is injured by a home run hit by St. Louis' Pete Kozma.

The incident occurs when her boyfriend moves away and basically lets her take the hit. The ball heads for the second deck, where the couple is sitting. The guy jumps to the side and it hits his future ex-girlfriend in the face.

A similar gesture by an inconsiderate boyfriend has been captured on video in 2010. A Houston Astros fan known as Bo "the Bailer" avoided getting in the way of a foul ball and his girlfriend ended up wounded by it.
