Like a story from the series “I Shouldn't Be Alive,” Mark R survived an insane fall down a mountain slide after a piece of ice fell and hit him, sending him straight down the way he came, and it was a long way.

The footage shows unbelievable images of him plummeting down the mountain like a human avalanche hitting every obstacle on his way. As unbelievable as it looks, Mark survived with just some minor injuries, a bum ankle, and some bruises.

The ice climber managed to keep focused even in those terrible moments. “There was no feeling of panic, more a concerted effort to protect my head and neck and be aware of what was below me, where I was heading and what I could do to slow and stop myself before I got to the more serious rocky outcrops,” notes Gizmodo.

When looking at the footage, there are moments when one can't even tell where is up and where is down, and the speed he had while tumbling down the ice wall is mind-blowing. Mark can consider himself incredibly lucky after surviving such a fall.
