I cannot begin to imagine what was in his mind when he thought that taping some firecrackers to his lips and setting them on fire would be a good idea. I may be inclined to say it doesn't get dumber than this, but it can actually go way further.
So this young fellow thought of a simple way of becoming an Internet sensation, and proceeded with the plot, recording the whole exhibit of stupidity. At least, he doesn't appear to be severely injured and still has his whole face.
The title of the video posted on LiveLeak is pretty descriptive “Darwin Award Nominee – Idiot Tapes Firecrackers to his Face.” I would ask him “Why?” but I know the answer I would get would be something similar to “Because reasons.”
