One can only imagine that, if you are a drug dealer, you have to be extra careful around cops, not to mention extremely creative when it comes to finding the best place to hide your stash and keeping it concealed from police officers.

Still, as it turns out, off-the-charts creativity does not guarantee that police officers will not figure out that something is off and present one with a nice set of handcuffs, and 42-year-old Christopher Mitchell stands as proof of this tragic truth.

The aforementioned drug dealer was not long ago caught while trying to hide marijuana in his belly fat. Specifically, it appears that, at the time police officers searched him, Christopher Mitchell had weed in between the folds of his belly.

According to the New York Daily News, the 42-year-old man was taken into custody this past Friday. Interestingly enough, it was something as simple as ignoring a traffic regulation that got Christopher Mitchell in trouble with the law.

Media reports say that the drug dealer, together with driver Keithian Roberts, was pulled over in Florida, US, after police officers noticed that he was not wearing his seatbelt. The best explanation that he could come up with was that he was too fat to put it on.

Truth be told, 42-year-old Christopher Mitchell weighs about 450 pounds (approximately 204 kilograms) and his friends call him Fat Boy or Biggie, so cops might have let him off with just a warning, had it not been for the fact that he appeared nervous.

However, this was not the case, which is why police officers saw fit to bring in a drug-sniffing dog and see whether the man or something inside his car sparked its interest. It was with the help of this canine officer that 23 grams (roughly 0.8 ounces) of marijuana were found hidden in Christopher Mitchell's belly fat.

Information shared with the public says that, together with the weed, cops recovered several grams of cocaine and a handgun from the car Christopher Mitchell and Keithian Roberts were driving around in. They also found $7,000 (about €5,166) in cash hidden inside a sock.

Shortly after being taken into custody, 42-year-old Christopher Mitchell was charged with possession of marijuana. By the looks of it, he must also answer for the fact that he was not wearing a seatbelt. Driver Keithian Roberts, on the other hand, has some really unpleasant cocaine possession charges to deal with.
