14 DAY TRIAL // A man from Russia got a stool leg embedded in his head after a bar fight. The metallic object pierced his skull and made it to his brain.
About four inches (10 cm) of it were actually stabbing his brain, as shown in the X-ray above. Miraculously, he was operated on and he has survived the horrific incident.
"The man spent two weeks in intensive care in a serious but stable condition," describes Lead neurosurgeon Dr. Pavel Rudenko, at Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
Rudenko performed extensive surgery on the unidentified patient, in the Krasnoyarskiy Kray hospital. He pointed out that the man had no paperwork on him when an ambulance took him to the hospital.
According to The Mirror, he can now move and feed himself and has experienced no motor disabilities.
