However, the way in which he chose to handle it was anything but appropriate.
Thus, the Rottweiler, which was already covered in tumors, was simply abandoned in front of an RSPCA office in Coventry at about 4 a.m. in the morning, as its owner seemed oblivious to the fact that outdoor temperatures were close to freezing.
Sources inform us that, because of its poor health, the people who found the pup the following day had no choice but to put it to sleep.
“Poor Harris [the name RSPCA officers gave to the dog] had obviously been suffering for several weeks and then finally to be left in such a manner is just appalling,” those who looked after the dog told members of the press.
Naturally, the police is presently investigating this case, and those who might have any information concerning this dog's owner are asked to share them with local authorities.
