Your credit card has not been used to purchase pizza

If you receive an email in which you are informed that pizza worth a few hundred dollars has been purchased with your credit card, whatever you do, don’t click on the “CANCEL ORDER NOW” link.

Those who do click on the links will be taken to a malicious website, hosted on a Russian domain, that’s set up to push a piece of malware onto the victim’s computer, Dynamoo’s Blog reports.

“If you haven’t made the order and it’s a fraud case, please follow the link and cancel the order. CANCEL ORDER NOW! If you don’t do that shortly, the order will be confirmed and delivered to you,” reads a message next to the order details.

The names of the pizzerias used in the malicious emails are ALBERTO’s Pizzeria and PIERO’s Pizzeria, but the names of other companies might also be utilized

It’s worth noting that such emails have been making the rounds for quite some time now, but they still appear to be successful in spreading malware.
