There's criticism and then there's being mean, pro dancer says

Maksim Chmerkovskiy doesn't have a reputation for being too hot-tempered for his own good, even so, he totally went nuts the other night on DWTS, as the judges critiqued his and partner Hope Solo's rumba on Broadway Night.

Video of the entire thing is below, embedded at the end of the article.

Culminating what must have been a very stressful week for the two, the rumba failed to impress the three judges on DWTS, even though audiences cheered in admiration.

Footage shown before the actual dance revealed the pains Solo went through to be a bit more feminine and less “athletic” during the routine, as well as how upset she was thinking that everybody had lost faith in her as a dancer.

Goodman hadn't, he told her after the dance, right before ripping into the pair to tell Hope that the rumba was her “worst [dance] of the whole season.”

'Hope, believe it or not, I've never lost faith in you. I always feel like there is so much there, and for some reason it hasn't come out,” Len said.

Maks on the side can already be seen losing his cool, as he's raising his arms to encourage the audiences to continue booing Goodman for his appraisal of the routine.

When Len tries to dissuade him from that, Maks responds, “As long as the audience likes our journey, we’re good,” hinting that the judges' consideration doesn't even matter all that much.

“Let me tell you, Maks, the audience likes the effect. I’ve been in this business for nearly 50 years,” Len says.

“Maybe it’s time to go,” Marks intervenes, prompting a rebuttal from Carrie Ann of “Don’t be disrespectful like that.”

“Everybody on that balcony has been dying and killing themselves only to hear your guy' a little judgmental comments. I am not being disrespectful, I’m protecting my partner,” Maks manages to say, right before he and Hope are being escorted off the dancefloor.
