The MagicTouch USB touchscreen kit will finally turn your old screen into a touchscreen. This is an add-on touchscreen that can work alone or with a keyboard and a mouse. It will allow you to operate your PC by touching the screen. This overlay is great for home, school or office use. It might also turn out to be a good solution for prototyping or demonstrating touchscreen applications.

The touchscreen mounts externally and it works with all mouse-driven software. Don't try to put your hand on the screen. It's not a multi-touch interface. You can only touch the thing using 1 finger, a gloved hand or using a pen stylus. The screen also lets you perform the following mouse functions: left-click, double-click, drag-and-drop and right-click.

The touchscreen add-ons are available with 2 interface types: Serial/COM Port Interface (on Windows 85/ 98 / ME / NT /2000/ XP and Redhat 9.0) and USB Port Interface (on Windows 98 / ME / NT / 2000/ XP, Redhat 9.0 and optionally, Macintosh OS.9 x - 10. 3. 1).

Here are the prices for the Laptop/Notebook Screen's add-ons: 159$ for 12-inch to 14-inch, 189$ for the 15-inch , 209 $ for the 15.4 Widescreen (16:9). The add-on for a CRT/LCD monitor comes in 3 flavors: ivory, black and silver. This is the available price list for CRT/LCD monitor add-ons: 159$ for 14-inch to 15-inch screen, 209 $ for 17-inch and 299$ for 19-inch.

The touchscreen add-ons are available in several sizes to fit a variety of computer displays. The devices should be at least as large as the display area of your monitor.
