This summer is going to be a hot one, because on July 17, the second “Magic Mike” movie, “Magic Mike XXL,” will open wide in theaters. A new trailer has been released online, and as always, you can see it in full and in HD below.

“Magic Mike” came out in 2012 and tells the story of a group of male exotic dancers, loosely based on events in leading man Channing Tatum’s life from before he moved to Hollywood and made it as an actor.

The sequel, or “MMXXL” for short, will focus some more on the same group, only now with a few different members and a considerably larger fanbase. Apparently, they will also be taking their number on the road for one last time, and developing new routines for the occasion.

That translates to handsome men in tiny shorts, doing provocative dance numbers. You know, in case you were wondering why female moviegoers are so hyped about this film.

Directed by Gregory Jacobs of a script by Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin, “MMXXL” stars Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Michael Strahan, Amber Heard, Elizabeth Banks, Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Jada replaces Matthew McConaughey from the first movie, which I think is the perfect casting choice because she’s got the sass for the part. Check it out.
