Rumors regarding the availability of the magenta version of the Nokia Lumia 800 pointed to an early 2012 release in the UK, and it looks like the time frame has just been confirmed by multiple retailers in the country.

Nokia Lumia 800 was officially introduced last month during Nokia World event, and said to be available in three color schemes: black, cyan and magenta.

However, only the black version of the phone was available for purchase until recently. Currently, the cyan flavor can be purchased from Three UK, as well as from other authorized retailers.

Well, it appears that some of these authorized sellers are now accepting pre-orders for the magenta Nokia Lumia 800, and state that the smartphone is due to be released in early January.

Given the fact that Nokia reported strong Lumia 800 sales in the UK, which were confirmed by some carriers, it is recommended to pre-order the device now and be among the first customers to receive it.

The folks over at NokNok.tv found some deals on the magenta Nokia Lumia 800, which may sound a bit steep in comparison with the suggested retail price.

It appears that retailers FlagShipFones and KingOfGadgets are taking pre-orders for the unlocked magenta Nokia Lumia 800, which is available for purchase for £467.99 (725 USD or 545 EUR) and £459.99 (715 USD or 535 EUR), respectively.

The best deals on the phone are offered by Expansys and Handtec that are selling the magenta Nokia Lumia 800 for £449.99 (700 USD or 520 EUR) and (675 USD or 505 EUR), respectively.

Most of these retailers are also throwing in free shipment, so customers won’t have to worry about additional costs. However, there’s also the chance that the magenta version will be introduced by carriers as well for a much better price.
