Enrique Iglesias is making a comeback on the music scene with his first special issue, bilingual album, “Euphoria.” Described by the singer himself as his most eclectic and best work to date, the album promises to be a genuine tour de force, with heavy-name collaborators like RedOne and Akon. It should come as no surprise though that Para Todos magazine crowns Enrique the Latino King of Pop.

After a prolonged absence, Enrique is ready for his splashing comeback and he’s certainly not sparing any expense to get there. His first single off the new album, “I Like It,” already has two different videos, one featuring only Enrique and Pitbull, while the other includes the cast of MTV’s now-infamous “Jersey Shore” reality shore. It’s all part of a new approach and a new sound that Iglesias is trying to bring to the table, he says for the Spanish-language magazine.

“This album is unique in my career. Ten years ago, I wanted to do something half English and half Spanish, but there was no time and the record company was not prepared. Euphoria catches me at my most creative moment. I worked with only three producers and we are all friends, so it was a very relaxed setting,” the singer says. Fans should also make plans to see Enrique live for, if he has it his way, he plans on touring all over the world to support the album.

“I believe that with the exception of Alaska, everywhere. (laughs) The album takes considerable effort for the whole team. It’s like having two girlfriends and the two must be given proper attention [referring to Euphoria having both half English and half Spanish songs],” he explains. Speaking of girlfriends, ladies will probably somewhat upset to hear that Enrique is still with Anna Kournikova. “In terms of my personal life, the sea is calm, with waves, occasionally a tsunami, but even in that, I was lucky to have found Anna. She’s a great girl, smart and it’s our degree of independence and freedom that allows us to be so close,” the singer adds.

As we also informed you on a past occasion, Enrique is the first to say that “Euphoria” is the kind of album that he’s always wanted to make because it allows him the freedom he needs, as well as the possibility of showing how various styles and sounds can mix and match and still sound pretty awesome.
