Madonna's teen daughter, Lourdes or Lola, sure is growing up fast. At 15, she is already a model and has her own fashion line, and is considered one of the hottest fashionistas around. She's also a smoker, says a new report.

The Daily Mail has photos of Lourdes sneaking a cigarette while out in New York City with friends the other day.

As the British tab puts it, it's not just good looks that Lourdes inherited from her famous mom.

“Madonna’s 15-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon appears to already have picked up a bad nicotine habit after she was pictured smoking a cigarette on Friday,” the Mail writes.

“The eldest daughter of the Material Girl was seen puffing away as she loitered around with male friends in New York. She had the cigarette in her hand as a pal lighted it for her and seemed very comfortable with it,” adds the publication.

In America, the legal age for smoking is 18, the Mail underlines.

“Wearing a black and white mini dress with matching shoes, the 10th grade schoolgirl wore dark shades and her long hair loosely around her shoulders. At one point she even sneakily tried to hide the cigarette in her hand by holding it upside down as she walked along,” the tab further says.

Madonna herself was a heavy smoker once, having picked up the habit in her early fame years. She eventually kicked it, turning into a genuine health nut, but she's been plagued by the occasional rumor that she might have relapsed.

Talk of it was immediately squashed by her publicist.

Speaking of smoking, Madonna is also seen puffing on a cigarette in her latest video, for “Girl Gone Wild,” her first single off the “M.D.N.A.” album.

As it happens, this is the least offensive thing about the clip, which was flagged by viewers on YouTube and consequently age-restricted.

Madonna and her team are now working on editing it again, to cut scenes that were considered unsuitable for under-18s, as we also informed you earlier today.
