Older than her other boytoys, at least: Timor Steffens is 26

It is a well-known fact that Madonna likes ‘em young but, according to a new report, she may have had a change of heart and is now fancying slightly older men. The Queen of Pop is rumored to be dating now a 26-year-old actor, with whom she stepped out on a date the other night in New York City.

His name is Timor Steffens and he’s an actor and a backup dancer. The first time he and Madonna were romantically linked in the press was in January this year, shortly after she had broken up with Brahim Zaibat, whom she dated for roughly 4 years.

At the time, all we had to confirm the new romance were unofficial reports, but the Daily Mail now has photos of Madonna and Timor out on a date and it seems convinced that they’re more than friends.

It also doesn’t pass on the opportunity of stressing that Steffens is the oldest man Madonna has dated since her divorce from Guy Ritchie though, at 26, he is still closer in age to her teenage daughter Lourdes than she is to her.

“Aged just 26, actor Timor Steffens is almost three decades younger than the mother-of-four, whose eldest child Lourdes is 17. But at least he is older than her two previous boyfriends. In December, she split from French dancer Brahim Zaibat, 25, whom she had been dating since 2010. Before that, she dated Brazilian model and DJ Jesus Luz, who was just 22 at the time,” the report says.

Just like Brahim and Jesus, Timor is olive-skinned, tall, of athletic build, and handsome in a very exotic way. He’s also young but it’s not like we needed to point that out once more. You can’t say Madonna doesn’t have a “type.”

A couple of years ago, while she was still with Brahim, Madonna opened up on the romance saying that she didn’t specifically go after younger men: as she put it, the heart wants what the heart wants.

“I didn’t choose to, you know, I didn’t, like, write down on a piece of paper, ‘I’m now going to have a relationship with a younger man.’ That’s just what happened. You see, that’s the romantic in me. I just met someone that I cared for, and this happened to be his age. I don’t want to live my life on my own. I love being a mother,” she said.

She also stressed that, since she never really lived a conventional life, it would be ridiculous for people to start assuming she would do so now that she was halfway into her 50s.
