14 DAY TRIAL // Although they reportedly started dating a good couple of months ago, after first meeting on the set of a photoshoot for W magazine, Jesus Luz insists there is nothing more between him and the Queen of Pop Madonna than a close friendship, The Sun informs. Clearly, the young model is not willing to be romantically linked to the star, for whatever reason, the tab also says.
Word in the industry had that the moment Madonna laid her eyes on Luz, she became so in love with him that she threw all caution out the window and asked him to come on tour with her, and then to settle in New York so that they could be together for most of the time. Said and done and, while they never officially confirmed being an item, they were spotted together on countless occasions to warrant speculation about an ongoing affair.
Still, as Madonna is keeping mum on the subject, Jesus is adamant that the world knows the true nature of their relationship. They’re just friends and whoever says there’s more to it than that is only speculating, the model says on Brazilian TV show Fantastico, according to the British publication. “She is someone I truly admire, a friend who is in my life, who I have worked with, and who I keep in touch with. I can’t say anything else besides that. She is a friend, and nothing but a friend.” Luz said while on the show.
As fans must remember, not long ago, word got out that Madonna had already “integrated” Jesus in most aspects of her life, including in her faith for Kabbalah, taking him to the NY Center on more than one occasion. Reportedly, the singer even got the young model to go on a macrobiotic diet to cleanse his body of the toxins accumulated so far, while she’s trying to land him the biggest modeling gigs possible in the city. At the same time, also recently, Jesus’ own father was telling the media that the two were preparing for some sort of wedding / commitment ceremony at the Kabbalah Church.
“The Kabbalah ceremony [in New York that] will link up my son Jesus Luz and Madonna only confirms that he is extremely happy. I don’t know if there will, in fact, be a real marriage between Madonna and my son. It will be a type of ritual, but I do not know Kabbalah [or if the ceremony] will have legal validity.” Jesus Luz’s father was telling one Brazilian newspaper a while back, as quoted by several US media outlets.
