Tracy Anderson is a force to be reckoned with in the celebrity universe, being the personal trainer who can take all the credit for shaping Madonna’s body the way it is now. After giving birth, several hernia operations and a horse-riding accident, the singer was in the worst shape possible when she met Anderson, the woman who reportedly put her back in one piece. Now, because of personal issues, Madonna has fired the trainer, PageSix informs.

A little over a year ago, the two were practically inseparable, when the singer was still living in London with her then-husband Guy Ritchie. They and close friend Gwyneth Paltrow, who also introduced Tracy to Madonna, would often be seen together leaving the gym, only to praise in the media later on the qualities they most admired in each other. However, Anderson’s rather hectic personal life has managed to burn the bridge between her and the Queen of Pop, insiders whisper.

“Madonna had grown tired of the baggage that Tracy always seemed to be carrying with her. Tracy had grown to be more of a distraction than anything else.” an unnamed source says for PageSix. The baggage in question seems to be Anderson’s involvement with the former head of Madonna’s Raising Malawi charity, who chose to resign from said position after falling in love with her. Then, Anderson herself took her time when it came to accompanying the singer on tour, so that she could spent more time with Philippe, which reportedly infuriated Madonna.

“Things between the Material Girl and Anderson might also have gotten personal. We reported last month that Philippe van den Bossche, the former head of Madonna’s Raising Malawi charity, had quit his post in Los Angeles to move to New York to date Anderson. Van den Bossche was quoted as saying that Madonna was ‘happy’ about his relationship with the trainer. But Madge was said to be disappointed when Anderson wouldn’t travel with her on the final leg of her recent European tour until the very end so she could be with Van den Bossche.” PageSix writes.

When asked about whether she fired Anderson as reports have it, Madonna just laughs and only says they’re no longer working together. The trainer, in her turn, would never admit to being let go so unceremoniously, sticking instead to the official line that she left after an amicable split because she wanted to spend more time with her son. The truth must be somewhere in between, as usual.
