Madden NFL 15 is set to arrive before the end of the month and the developers working on it at EA Sports are ready to offer players more information about some of the big changes that are being introduced in the main franchise-focused game modes.

For the Owner experience, the team has listened to the fan base and tweaked the difficulty in order to make sure that for each item that can be sold, from concessions to classic merchandise, a sweet spot exists and can maximize the profit without annoying the fan base.

EA Sports states in the official announcement that “Owner Mode is now much more challenging when it comes to making a profit, and teams with older stadiums in smaller markets may be better off building new stadiums or relocating altogether. As always, the best solution in Owner Mode is winning. Win and the fans will spend money. Our goal was to make Owner Mode much more challenging this year, and we feel like we’ve accomplished that.”

Players can now also choose to simulate to a point in the future of their virtual NFL world in order to cater to those who like to see how players and entire teams evolve, with the only restriction being that, in all online leagues, only the player-named commissioner can perform this action.

In Madden NFL 15, more information is offered on the way players are progressing, and the game will deliver news stories that will offer a lot of hints about which members of the team are regressing because of age or other problems.

EA Sports has also redesigned the Weekly Goals to make them more realistic, the Autopilot control option has been enhanced, and there are also multiple commissioners in online leagues.

The studio adds, “Along with creating all new uniforms, we tuned CPU relocation so that it very rarely happens early in CFM. Teams still rebuild stadiums in their home city, but it’s pretty rare for a CPU team to up and move. At the request of the Game Changers, we also added an additional setting that allows you to prohibit CPU teams from relocating at all.”

The core simulation engine of Madden NFL 15 has also been updated to use development, confidence and consistency when running games, with a slight advantage offered to young players in order to allow them to develop quickly into spectacular presences on the field.

The American football sim will be offered on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and last-gen consoles.
