Electronic Arts has recently gone public announcing that Madden NFL 08 En Espanol has shipped to retailers, being available for systems Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox 360. The Spanish version of Madden NFL 08 features exclusive Spanish language content, including additional music tracks, and Spanish play-by-play and game analysis voice-over.

According to an official EA report, Madden NFL 08 en Espanol (the same game only fully translated into Spanish) is part of a commitment the NFL and NFL PLAYERS share in delivering original content to a growing Hispanic fan base. The game features a Read and React system that allows gamers to quickly identify the strongest players on the field. More than that, using the same system gamers can make game-altering adjustments for a fine tuning of the gameplay experience. The Player Skill Icon system on the other hand, allows gamers to identify on-field strengths and weaknesses, providing an immediate read on what an opponent is doing.

The broadcast voice of Madden NFL 08 en Espanol is of course Alvaro Martin, the first Spanish-language play-by-play broadcaster for ABC Sports' "Monday Night Football. He has an impressive broadcast background with experience as one of the top Spanish-language play-by-play announcers for ESPN International.

As for the exclusive Spanish songs featured in Madden NFL 08 en Espanol, "Los Que Luchamos" by Kinto Sol, "Blame Me" performed by Molotov and "Relax" by Mana, are three songs added to the original Madden soundtrack - they are available only with this version of the game. There's even a double-exclusive feature with the Xbox 360 version of the game: Spanish language sports news delivered by ESPNDeportes.com.

Madden NFL 08 en Espanol features San Diego Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo on the box cover and is now available for purchase, for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360. The two "en Espanol" versions are interoperable with Madden NFL 08 in English for online play.
