Mad Catz made good on its deal with Microsoft and completed what is described as the world's first headset specifically designed for use with the Xbox 360 game console.

Of course, the product isn't that much different, deep down, from any other headsets, and this becomes all the more obvious when one learns that the Detonator Stereo Headset, as it is called, can work just fine with MP3 players, cell phones and audio devices as well.

Spec-wise, Mad Catz used 50mm Neodymium Drivers, as well as Selectable Voice Monitoring and Detachable Boom Mic.

Selectable Voice Monitoring lets one choose whether to hear their own voice, while the padded adjustable headband and plush around-the-ear earcups make sure extended periods of play are always comfortable.

The price of the newcomer is $80 (60.02 Euro) and the product page is located here.
