The Missing Sync 5.0 is the latest version of the software Mark/Space has put together for synchronizing Mac systems and Palm Os running devices. This including many applications that do not come with software that natively supports the Mac.

The update offers support for Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger's Sync Services technology, which allows the Missing Sync to synchronize contacts, calendar events and fill in Mac's own master database, without having to deploy iSync and the iSync Palm Conduit.

This new tool for linking the two systems is the end result of a two-year effort, which aimed at bettering the usability of Mac computers.

"Last year, with the release of version 4.0, the focus was on connectivity, device management and usability. Version 5.0 completes the picture by increasing the types of information that users are able to sync, including handheld calendar categories and additional contact record fields, providing a better experience all around", said Brian Hall, president and CEO of Mark/Space.

Priced at US$39.95, the software costs $24.95 to upgrade from previous versions and is available for download at the Mark/Space Online Store.
