With a certain electronics show coming in, companies are, understandably, hard at work preparing the product collections they plan to show off at the site, and Mach Xtreme is not about to fall behind.

The past few months have been literally packed full with new hardware of practically all kinds, especially semiconductors.

Among other things, new graphics cards were delivered, powerful central processors were previewed or launched and DRAM and NAND chips began to use more advanced manufacturing processes (25nm, for instance).

That new systems are going to get launched and demonstrated at Computex, in June, is a given, with Biostar being just one of the companies putting together such machines.

Mach Xtreme, on the other hand, is one of those outfits that is content with just providing Biostar and its kith with the necessary components to make good computers.

To that end, it has reserved its own booth and will showcase both DRAM and NAND Flash products.

Nothing specific is said in the report that reveals this, although static and live demos are planned for SATA 3 SSDs, USB 3.0 flash drives and DDR3 memory for overclocking and with low latencies.

For those that need a reminder, SATA 3 is the SATA 6.0 Gbps interface that some current-generation HDDs and SSDs are equipped with.

Also, the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed standard is the successor to USB 2.0 and has a theoretical maximum throughput that is ten times faster than the latter.

Consumer-oriented, particularly high-end parts will not be all that Mach Xtreme will show, however, as the outfit also prepared, or is preparing, MX industrial solid state drives.

Since the Compyex 2011 Show in Taipei, Taiwan will last from May 31 through June 4, visitors will have five days to peruse everything. What remains is to see how many deisng wins these things all score.
