Among the mobile phones that ALCATEL ONE TOUCH brought to the floor at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Softpedia's editors encountered the ONE TOUCH 806 and ONE TOUCH 807, two devices the company would include in its Just Add Friends series.

Unlike the previously presented ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 990, these devices do not run under the Android platform.

They would be put on sale sometime in the next few month, most probably in the April-May time frame, as entry-level feature phones, the company unveiled.

Moreover, the mobile phone maker explained that the ONE TOUCH 806 was meant for launch on the European and Asian markets, while the ONE TOUCH 807 should land on shelves in the United States market.

Thus, the two devices sport a similar design, which only a few elements to differentiate them, and they pack a similar set of features too, the handset vendor said.

As stated above, these phones would be included in the company's Just Add Friends series, as they sport full QWERTY keyboards for messaging, Social Networking, e-mail and more.

ONE TOUCH 806 will be launched with a 2.8-inch touchscreen (320 x 240 pixels), microSD memory card slot for up to 8GB of additional storage space, and a 2MP camera on the back.

The handset also sports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity options, Bluetooth 2.0, and Micro USB 2.0, as well as various messaging capabilities, including SMS, IM, MMS, email and social networking. It measures 118.5 x 59 x 12.2mm and weighs in at 105g.

As stated above, the ONE TOUCH 807 arrives with about the same specs as ONE TOUCH 806, including the same display size and resolution, photo snapper, connectivity capabilities, or memory space.

Each of them is powered by a 850 mAh battery that can offer up to 16.7 hours of talk time, or up to 726 hours of standby time.

The ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Just Add Friends series also includes devices like ONE TOUCH 900, ONE TOUCH 888, ONE TOUCH 808, ONE TOUCH 803, ONE TOUCH 819 and ONE TOUCH 585.
