Approximately two months after it offered the MSN Onit mobile application for Windows Phone 7, Microsoft has now launched the app for owners of iPhone and iPad devices.

New flavors of MSN Onit are already live for both iPhone and iPad on iTunes, enabling owners of such devices to access the new MSN lifestyle app tailored specifically for me.

Starting in March 2011, the software giant launched MSN Onit for Windows Phone 7, and it’s obvious that MSN is working to expand the reach of the app in terms of audience.

“Built with guys in mind, MSN Onit combines the best of men’s lifestyle content from MSN and leading outlets like Esquire, LIFE.com, Men’s Health and TheSmokingJacket.com, assembling it alongside the power and convenience of Bing,” revealed Eva Corets, Executive Producer, MSN Mobile.

By the looks of it, MSN Onit is positioned as the ultimate "guys guide" to a range of topics that traditionally appeal to men.

The application is set up to cover content such as cars, girls, gadgets, fitness, events, all aggregated from across top web properties, including the ones mentioned earlier in this article.

Of course, one advantage of Onit is that fact that it also integrates the Bing search decision engine along with providing users with social networking features keeping them connected with Facebook friends.

“You’ll get daily life advice or morsel of trivia--on subjects ranging from science to history to sex. You'll get great automotive reviews, first drives and slideshows. You'll get tips on getting in shape, staying in shape or amping up your workout,” Corets added.

“Eat & Drink features provide you with tips on cooking the perfect steak, picking the perfect beer or navigating the restaurant menu for lean dining options.

“You'll find DIY articles and guides, the best in fashion and style advice for men, and sports--the latest updates as well as a lighter look. Catch up on what you missed last night on TV or explore the realm of pop culture and sci-fi.”
