Ever since it made its debut at the Computex fair, many have been wondering when will MSI's WindPad W110 tablet make it to retail and more importantly how much will this AMD Fusion powered slate end up costing. Fortunately, all these questions have now been answered as the device was listed online be several e-tailers.

The MSI WindPad W110 was designed with business people in mind and it sports a 10-inch IPS multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels as well as an AMD Z-01 accelerated processing unit.

This is AMD first APU that was designed especially for tablet use and it includes two x86 processing cores that run at 1GHz, as well as an Radeon HD 6250 graphics core, all inside a 5.9W TDP.

As a result, MSI states that the 2-cell battery pack used by the W110 can go up to six hours without a recharge.

In addition to AMD's low-power accelerated processing unit, the WindPad tablet also includes up to 4GB DDR3 of memory, 802.11 b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as an SSD to provide users with 32 or 64 GB of storage space.

A front and a rear 1.3MP webcams are also available as standard and these accompany a slew of other features such as the SD slot, the USB 2.0 port, the HDMI video output, or the LAN port installed.

The operating system of choice is Windows 7 Home Premium, but the tablet also sports a few MSI specific enhancements, such as the Wind Touch user interface, the Easy Face log-in application as well as the Easy Viewer app, which allows for easy touch-controlled photo browsing.

The WindPad W110 is available for pre-order right now from J&R and ExcaliberPC for $599.99. According to the latter the tablet is expected to start shipping on July 1. (via Netbook News)
