FM1 motherboards have been coming out for a few weeks now but Micro-Star International decided it was room for one more, so it brought forth the A75A-G55, one that will go well with mainstream AMD APUs.

AMD's Fusion technology spawned the A-Series of Llano mainstream APUs a while ago, though motherboards with support for them have been appearing even before their time.

Either way, the processors with mainstream-level integrated graphics definitely do seem to be living up to their name and scoring enough sales that mainboard makers are quite inclined towards raising the number of platforms available.

Having come to be known as FM1 motherboards, such products cover a fairly wide range of performance and expansion capabilities.

One of the latest to emerge was created by Micro-Star International (MSI) and given the name of A75A-G55. It is priced at 79.12 Euro, has a product page here and can only be pre-ordered for now.

If one were to classify it, it could be ranked as a fairly powerful ATX motherboard that can help set up a nice gaming rig.

That said, whatever integrated Radeon graphics the APU provides can be supplemented by either one or two add-in-boards (two PCI Express x16 slots are present).

CrossFireX is supported, as is the Dual Graphics technology (switches between integrated and discrete GPUs automatically).

Also, four memory slots are present (DDR3-1600), as are six SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, for hard disk drives or solid state drives.

Needless to say, the full range of connectivity and I/O options was implemented (USB 3.0 x2, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, DVI, D-Sub and HDMI).

Other specifications of the MSI A75A-G55 include the i-Charger function, Click BIOS, the Winki 3 instant-on OS and the OC Genie II one-second overclocking function, made safe by Military Class II components (SFC, Solid CAP, Hi-c CAP).
