It has a top frame rate of 6,600 FPS and a rubberized matter body with LED lighting

MSI could have crammed loads of features into its latest mouse and peppered it with more buttons than you're likely to know what to do with. However, it chose not to do that.

Instead, it kept the outside reasonably tame, although it did rubberize it and apply a black and red color scheme, complete with an Internal LED that shines with the latter color.

Granted, there are more buttons than on regular mice, eight to be more precise, and they are all programmable, but that still does not compare with, let's say, the Thunder M7 MMO from AORUS.

That said, the MSI Interceptor DS100 does possess on-the-fly DPI adjustment, allowing you to move from 100 to 3,500 DPI as needed. Consequently, the frame rate changes, though it can never go over 6,600 FPS (frames per second).

Moving on, the tracking speed is of 30 IPS, while the acceleration is of 9 g. In layman terms, this all means that you can set the mouse so that you have to slide your hand over half your table in order to move the cursor a few inches, or you can make it so that a slight jerk will catapult the small arrow all across the display.

All in all, the MSI Interceptor DS100 measures 117 x 62.6 x 37.3 mm / 4.60 x 2.46 x 1.46 inches and weighs 135 grams / 0.29 pounds (though extra wights can be added).
