Not satisfied with the current gaming laptop offerings on the market today? One can’t deny the choice is quite varied when it comes to powerful and efficient notebooks, but MSI has another duo of laptops it wants gamers to try out.

Introducing the MSI GP70 and GP60, two slim and sleek notebooks that come boasting NVIDIA’s latest GPU architecture. On top of that, MSI adds the Steelseries gaming keyboard and the unique Audio Boost solution for headsets, capable of providing an immersive sound solution.

The two notebook are equipped with Intel’s 4th-generation i7 Quad Core processors and NVIDIA’s GeForce 840M. Despite the capable configurations, the products still managed to retain an anorexic frame, weighing 2.4 kg / 5.29 lbs (GP60) and 2.7 kg / 5.95 lbs (GP70).

MSI claims the two models could prove to be the best choice for casual and hardcore gamers around. The producing company notes that the Haswell platform boosts performance up to 10% compared to previous generation and at the same time improves on saving power and optimizing cooling procedures.

The two Leopards take advantage of NVIDIA’s GeForce 840M (based on Kepler or Maxwell) that boasts 2GB DDR3 of display memory. Compared to the previous GeForce GT 740M, the GeForce 840M brings about over 35% improvement.

Combine that with DirectX 11 support and NVIDIA PhysX technology, and you can expect to be able to take advantage of a smooth gaming experience.

Apart from the increased graphics capabilities, the implementation of the new chip will also contribute to bringing about power-efficiency. This happens to be part of the new feature called Batter Boost, which can adapt the GPU settings based on the game’s specific requirements.

What Battery Boost does is assess the characteristic of each individual game in order to provide the perfect balance between performance and power consumption, ensuring users will be able to play the game for as long as they want.

The GP Leopard series also takes advantage of MSI’ Matrix Display meaning gamers can output content to up to three external displays, by virtue of the HDMI 1.4 and traditional D-Sub.

Last but not least, we’re going to tell you the new laptop duo will come equipped with an upgraded feature, called Sound Blaster Cinema wrap. As the name implies, the system is used to wrap around sound, human voice, virtual bass and low quality audio sources.

Pricing specifications aren't available so far, but we'll update you when they are made available.
