PC manufacturer MSI mostly known for its high-end gaming and professional mobile solutions, has just pushed out a new laptop, dubbed the CX61 2PC which aims to offer the best of both worlds.

The new laptop has been designed mainly for business usage, but can also be used for casual gaming. The CX61 is one of the thinnest classic laptops you can currently find on the market and can be a good choice for users who like to play once in a while.

The laptop has 15.6-inch display and users can choose between what kind of resolution they want to see embedded, either HD (1366 x 768 pixels) or Full HD (1920 x 1080) with Anti-glare. MSI offers a selection between Intel 4th generation Core i7 / i5 to go under the hood coupled with 2 DIMM DDR3-1600L up to 16GB.

The CX61 2 PC comes equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT820M discrete graphics with 2GB DDR3 of display memory, which supports DirectX 11 effects and nVidia PhysX technology. To amplify the gaming experience, MSI has slipped in the company’s Audio boost solution, Audio amplifier and gold jacks.

The CX61 2PC boasts a stylish business design and, as its weighs only 2.5 kg / 5.5 lbs, it will be a good solution to deploy by users always on the go. But the laptop features some dedicated gaming feats, as well. For example, the launch keys were moved on the up side of the keyboard.

Moreover, users can quickly turn the Wi-Fi on/off, disable the touch-pad when they can connect a USB mouse to the system or enable turbo battery mode to help them achieve an uninterrupted gaming experience.

The CX61 comes in gray option, but MSI doesn't mention when we might see the laptop arrive on the market.

Last but not least, MSI took the opportunity to invite users to its Dragoon Army website and forum, a gaming community the device maker has set up to increase name exposure but also user experience.
