MSI has issued a formal announcement in order to divulge the existence of its newest all-in-one computer, one set to join the Wind Top series and powered by one of Intel's newest processors.

Micro-Star International seems to be one of the companies doing their best to make sure this year's CeBIT doesn't really disappoint in terms of new releases.

As such, it has been revealing multiple products over the past few days, such as the Wind Box DC100 nettop.

On a related note, Intel itself has done something more or less unusual, that being taking the decision to try and standardize all-in-one systems.

Now, MSI has unveiled the Wind Top AE2210 AiO, which is based on the second generation of Intel Core processors.

The CPUs here usable are the 2.5 GHz Core i5-2400s or the Core i3-2100 (3.1 GHz), so as to cover the needs of more customers and a wider price range.

That said, 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM (random access memory) are available, as is a hard disk drive which provides a storage capacity of 640 GB.

Meanwhile, the Intel HD 2000 integrated graphics handle all video needs, unless customers opt for the stronger NVIDIA GeFroce GT 540M.

Other features include a 6-in-1 card reader, a TV tuner (optional), a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a pair of 3W speakers (THX TruStudio Pro technology) and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

All the above are packed inside a frame measuring 21.5 inches, complemented by an LCD that has a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. There is even touch support, enjoyable in full thanks to the Wind Touch interface, the ArtRage painting software and YouCam v4.0.

MSI's press release did not say when the newcomer will start selling or for what price, but it is reported that shipments may start this month, for $800.
