If you remember the MSI Wind Netbook Love Edition we mentioned earlier this week, then you should know that you can already get your hands on it, as the Taiwanese manufacturer has listed it on its own shopping website. In fact, at this time, the Love Edition is the only Wind Netbook available here so, quite obviously, if it's not what you're looking for, you should probably look for a standard version of MSI's netbooks elsewhere.

According to what is listed on the website, there are 127 units of the Wind Netbook Love Edition currently available in stock. With a price tag of $559.99 a pop, the Love Edition falls pretty much in the same price range as any other MSI Wind netbook. You will also have to remember that you are dealing with a 3-cell-equipped netbook, as 6-cell models tend to have a slightly higher price point.

As already noted the first time we discussed the Love Edition, this Wind portable system has been designed to support several notebook donation programs around the world. The obvious marketing strategy meant to boost the popularity of MSI aside, the manufacturer stresses that this latest model added to its netbook lineup is the ideal device to be handed as a donation, given that it can be used as an educational tool for children that would help them improve their computing skills.

The Love Edition is equipped with the same 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor that is featured on the entire Wind netbook lineup. There's 1GB of DDR2 and an impressive 80GB of storage space on a SATA I hard drive. The portable computer runs a Windows XP Home Edition operating system and comes with a considerable number of connectivity options.

One of the key distinguishing features of the new Love Edition Wind netbook is its design that boasts "bright silver and shining gold hearts pattern on a pure white chassis to convey a sense of gentle softness."
