I don't know what's up with these companies launching so many devices at once. Anyway, MPIO is the next to reveal five brand new PMPs on the market. The announcement was made at the IFA, just like other companies have done.

The recent additions in the company's portfolio were dubbed MG200, MG300, MD100, OG23 and OG 21. Firstly, the MG200 model features a small size, uses flash and comes packed with 2GB and a SDHC card slot.

Besides revealing a nice 1.5-inch OLED, as well as other extra ion integrated options, such as a tune and recording FM, the device also sports a built-in microphone and a decent capability of dealing with most of the file formats available on the market, such as MP3, WMA and WMA-DRM.

Its brother, dubbed MG300 is no exception from the high standards itself. It features a 2.4-inch TFYT LCD QVGA screen and offers an extensible capacity of 4GB via the integrated SDHC slot. There is also a tuner/recording FM option, the same microphone and a playback capability for MP3/WMA/WMA-DRM/AVI/JPEG/BMP, which makes it a little bit smarter than its brother.

The MD100 player looks much like a mobile communication device. It features a monochromatic FSTN screen in 4 lines, which doesn't look so good on a futuristic device. Apart from its rather dull design, the player was given standard capabilities, such as a tuner/DAB, a tuner/recording FM, the usual mic. It supports MP3/WMA/WMA-DRM/OGG file formats.

When it comes to a more accurate design under a stronger resistant casing, it is the OG21 and OG23 players from MPIO that have it. But, besides looking pretty in silver, the items feature 2GB and 8GB, respectively, of extensible memory, using the SDHC slot.

It boasts the same TFT LCD QVGA screen display, as well as almost the same capabilities as the other players from its line. Sadly, it's too soon for a price tag or availability detail!
