European device manufacturer MODECOM has pushed out a new tablet model, the FreeTAB 7004 HD+ X2 3+ Dual, which like many offerings today combines the capacities of a slate with that of a smartphone.

The FreeTab 7004 comes equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and includes a dual-core CPU clocked at 2 x 1.2 GHz combined with 512MB of RAM and Mali-400 MP2 GPU.

Furthermore, the slate offers dual cameras, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G (via built-in modem) and Wi-Fi and, as I told you before, a dual-SIM card slot to allow users to place phone calls.

The slate has 4GB of internal storage but users can increase to 32GB via the microSD card. The FreeTab 7004 HD+ X2 3G works with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (no information about Android 4.4. KitKat at the moment) and its 3000 mAh battery should provide a decent enough life span for your slate.

The FreeTAB Hd will be available for purchase $136 / €100, which is a decent amount for such low-range product, with the mention that MODECOM could have slipped 1GB of RAM on the inside.
