Mini systems running the famous Google operating system are becoming increasingly popular these days and the main incentive is that people can do with these all the things you can do on a $300 tablet or on a $500 phone, but they only spend a quarter of that money on the device.

Minix is a brand of the relatively well-known manufacturer of small form factor systems and motherboards called J&W Technology.

The company is reportedly preparing a new Android system that will use a powerful dual-core processor using the ARM Cortex A9 architecture.

The processor is likely built in 40nm manufacturing technology and it will come with ARM’s Mali-400 graphics.

It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM storage along with WirelessN and FullHD support.

The novelty is called Minix NEO 4 and it ships with a remote control. Such a powerful, small and fanless solution will certainly appeal to the general simple user.
