On the occasion of its 10th year of operations in Singapore, M1 will be offering an array of attractive handsets and service benefits for its customers. The mobile operator will be giving 10,000 free 3G mobile phones to customers that upgrade or sign up for new mobile lines.

M1 subscribers will be getting the limited edition Samsung SGH-Z240 phone, which normally retails for $398 and in this case will be offered for free, while stocks last, subject to a 2-year contract and the usual terms and conditions. Moreover, the users that sign up for certain value added services like Roaming or Bye Bye Ring Ring between the 31st of March and the 20th of July will have the chance of winning tickets to celebrity concerts around the world, airfares and accommodation included.

Concerts include Elton John's performance in London, Kaiser Chiefs in Japan, Jackie Cheung in Hong Kong and more. First time subscribers that will select services like 3G Entertainment Buffet or MMS Server will also enjoy great savings, as they will be able to pay a fee of only $10.50 in order to subscribe to their service of choice for up to seven months.

This doesn't end here either, as all customers that sign up for both new M1 Broadband connection and mobile lines will get handset vouchers worth up to $200. Prepaid customers aren't left out, with every 10th M Card customer that does a top up between the 1st of April and the 15th of April getting $10 worth of free airtime.

"We are celebrating a meaningful and significant milestone and we are truly grateful to our customers for making it possible with their strong and wonderful support all these years. From a zero customer base to more than a million mobile customers today, it has been 10 good years of solid growth for M1. We have built up a brand that is known and appreciated for its innovative edge and service quality and that puts the customer first by providing great value and customer care. That is the nature and level of service that our customers have grown to expect from M1 and with their continuing support, we look forward to many more good years of service to our customers," said Neil Montefiore, M1's Chief Executive Officer.
