14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft is offerings a collection of content designed to help customers and partners raise awareness of its latest unified communications solution.
Lync 2010 was released in the last quarter of 2010, with free trial-based downloads of the UC offering continuing to be available for download even at this point in time.
Now the software giant is also providing Lync Adoption and Training - Awareness Resources via the Microsoft Download Center, also free of charge.
“This download contains Awareness Resources, including email templates for a pilot program, form templates for signing users up for a Lync pilot program, and poster and t-shirt templates for creating posters and t-shirts to help generate excitement and awareness for Lync in an organization,” the company said.
The Posters and T-Shirt resources are illustrative when it comes down to revealing just what the download is all about.
The content can be leveraged in order to put Lync 2010 at center stage in various scenarios, according to the software giant.
Here are the Redmond company’s instructions for Posters and T-Shirt:
“This directory contains two Adobe Illustrator CS5 files suitable for offset printing (for the posters) or screen printing (for the t-shirts). Also included are full-size JPEG images of what each Illustrator file contains.
“Forward the files to your marketing department or printing vendor with the necessary specifications for size of print run, quality of paper stock, and so on. You can also use the JPEGs to do a limited run high-quality ink-jet printing of the posters in-house.
“The file lync-poster-v2.ai contains one 11x17 poster and four 18x28 posters. The small poster shows all four of the larger posters, which together spell out Lync,” Microsoft stated.
Customers that feed they need something extra to raise awareness of Lync 2010 should definitely grab these resources from Microsoft, as they’re bound to come in handy.
