14 DAY TRIAL // A few days ago, rumor had it that two of the best looking Oscar nominees at this year’s race, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o, were hooking up and that things showed a lot of promise where they stood as a couple. Lupita herself was shocked to hear the kind of luck she was having.
The gorgeous actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show as part of her ongoing Oscars 2014 campaign and, of course, Ellen also brought up the topic of her love live.
“But now, so you're actually in tabloids which means you've really made it. Because there's rumors that you and Jared Leto are together,” she said, prompting a joke from her guest that, “Ah, but I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up. That was the last thing I heard.”
On a more serious note, Lupita explained that there was a time when she too used to believe the tabloids, on the premise that there’s always some truth to whatever rumor comes out. Now that she was the subject of one, she’s not so willing to believe them anymore.
“But you know it's crazy 'cause when I read these rumors they're so detailed that even I start to question whether they're true or not. Ya and I know I've believed them in the past and now I guess I can't believe anything,” she said.
