14 DAY TRIAL // Starting today, owners of iPhone and iPad devices can enjoy a new appealing game, called Lums and coming from Hyperbolic Magnetism (Vladimir Hrincar).
The title was designed as the first mobile game for iOS to sport physically realistic realtime 2D soft shadows, and comes to devices with 48 unique levels, though more of them are expected to become available soon.
The plot of the game is a simple one: Vampires invaded Lums' world, and players will help stop them by destroying their hideouts in the shadows, thus exposing them to the light.
“Use 5 different Lums in this beautiful action physics puzzle game,” the game’s developers note.
“Destroy everything with Cannonball Lum, create spotlights with Light Lum, use Antigravity Lum to make their hideouts fly away, or turn them into glass by using Transparent Lum. Sometimes you just need to turn everything into stone. Stone Lum can handle that.”
Furthermore, provided that users are unable to complete a level, they can resolve it all easily through the use of a Nuke Bomb that will destroy everything, thus granting access to the next level.
The puzzle game is available for purchase on the iPhone at $0.99 (€0.75), while featuring a price tag of $1.99 (€1.50) on the iPad. However, free versions of the game are also available for users, though limited to only 12 levels.
