The Danish company Lumigon has been teasing us with its new line of Android devices since the beginning of the year. Finally, after it receiving a facelift during the summer, the first Android smartphone coming from Lumigon, the T1 has been unveiled recently in an international gala show in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark

While there's no mention of what Android version Lumigon T1 will be running, we are hoping that the device will come with Android 2.2 platform.

Further, T1 is also including a special Lumigon P-GUI software that is meant to give the consumer an extreme user experience.

Lumigon T1 is powered by a Freescale i.MX515 processor and comes with a 3.5-inch TFT (480x800 pixels resolution) wide touchgreen made of glass with a surrounding metal frame.

“T1 is built on Scandinavian craftsmanship and design, coupled with the finest materials such as steel, aluminum and scratch-free glass. These uniquely designed phones are also packed with features not seen in mobile phones earlier”, concludes Lars Gravesen, CEO and founder.

Other highlight of the stylish device includes: HSDPA modem with Qualcomm chipset, Bang & Olufsen ICEpower aplifiers, HDMI / HD port, Wi-Fi connectivity, FM transmitter, 3.5mm headset jack, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Another innovative featurea of the smartphone is the fact that it can be used as a universal remote control, which enables the usage of T1 as control for a great variety of electrical appliances. The built-in learning function can memorize any command from almost any device.

Thanks to the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology embedded, the T1 is able to provide superior audio quality both in the speaker, receiver and head phones.

Besides its superior sound experience, the phone also consumes less power than an ordinary Android smartphone.

Lumigon T1 will be available in the distribution outlets in selected markets by the very end of this year, the major volumes arriving during Q1.

Further, the next Lumigon device, the S1 slider with an in-built T9 keypad is expected to be launched during Q3 2011.
