For a (rather brief) while, LulzSec dominated the news world, each day with a new site hacked, new data leaked, one bigger than the other.

It wasn't to last, of course, LulzSec itself knew very well, as most hackers, that they would get caught eventually. They continued anyway.

26-year-old Ryan Ackroyd has pleaded guilty to "conspiring to do an unauthorized act to impair the operation of a computer or computers."

During his Anonymous and LulzSec days, he was known as "kayla." Jake "topiary" Davis was also set to show up before the same court, but he has already pleaded guilty.

Ackroyd confirmed his involvement with both Anonymous and LulzSec as well as his part in the hacks against HBGary and Sony, the most notorious, and several other companies.

Two other members of LulzSec from the UK, Mustafa al-Bassam known as "tflow" as well as Ryan Cleary pleaded guilty to some of the accusations. They will be sentenced on May 14.
