Jeremy Hammond – the LulzSec hacker accused, among other things, of providing WikiLeaks with the Stratfor files – has been moved to solitary confinement for an undetermined period of time.

According to his supporters, the reason behind the decision is unknown.

“This injustice was further confirmed when we conferred with his legal team, who have been visiting him on a daily basis since he was put in solitary confinement. At this point, he will not be able to receive visits (other than his lawyers) and will have heavy restrictions on phone calls,” representatives of the Free Jeremy Hammond site explained.

They also claim to have obtained new evidence about the involvement of Judge Lorretta Preska with Stratfor.

In November, Preska was asked to step down from the case because her husband was a client of Stratfor. However, the judge refused to do so.
