LucasArts has made available through Twitter the lineup of games that it will be showing off next week at E3 2010. Three titles were announced, with more to come during the event itself. They are Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge will be released sometime this summer and will include updated graphics, a new soundtrack and new voice acting. It will also include an art gallery, a hint system and commentary track from the original creators, Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman. The platforms that will see the game are the iPhone, the iPod touch, the PC, the Mac, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will pick up the story from the first game and will continue to be placed in between the old and the new Star Wars movie trilogies. It will follow the adventures of Darth Vader's ex-apprentice, Starkiller, after the events depicted in the first title. New features include puzzle solving, piloting a TIE fighter, new Force powers and the protagonist will be able to wield two light-sabers and, as such, the combat will be modified. The game is set to be released on the 26th of October, 2010, for Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the PC and also for all the main handheld platforms.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively multiplayer online role-playing title set thousands of years before the original Star Wars film that will pit players against each other in the war between the Sith and the Galactic Republic. It is developed by BioWare, which promises to bring innovation to the genre by adding a powerful story component, companion characters and the minimizing of grind. The Old Republic will be a PC exclusive that has a tentative release date in the spring of 2011.
