Richland is the name of the current generation of A-Series accelerated processing units for desktops. These processors have been available for months, except for a couple of low-power models that have only now appeared.

These low-power models are known as A8-6500T and A10-6700T and work on 45W of energy, although AMD did have to reduce the top Turbo Core frequencies and integrated GPUs by 10-15%.

That resulted in clocks of 2.1 GHz / 3.1 GHz for the former and 2.5 GHz / 3.5 GHz for the latter, as well as Radeon HD 8550D graphics at 720 MHz.

Still, as far as low-power chips go, they are quite strong all the same, especially since both have four cores each, plus 4 MB L2 cache memory and support for AVX and FMA3 instructions.

The A8-6500T should be found online for $112 / €82, and the A10-6700T bears a tag of $142 / €105.
