Something most of you will get to love... eventually

I must admit that the name for this brand is one of the coolest I have ever met in 14 years of playing guitar. I mean, especially as the manufacturer makes such sweet-sounding hardware, the name comes in distinctively well.

No "X"-es and no "tech"-s, no "digi" and no many other commonly-met name-particles in the industry (not that I will ever disavow my dear Digitech gear).

Lovepedal come to us, guitarists, who are in love with pedals with a very interesting proposal directly related to our beloved chain of effects. Lovepedal have managed to develop a gimmick which is supposedly the one tool to finally get rid of unwanted loss of signal level, high end frequency response, low end punch caused by long cable runs and the audio signal running through lots of true bypass pedals: the Mini Buffer 3.

I know things really sound good, I am actually thinking that soon I will add 2 more pedals on my pedalboard and things are likely to start changing due to lots of metal-on-metal contacts and many pieces of cable. I thought running my rock-axe with a wireless transmitter would solve all the troubles but it hardly did so: it will eliminate the long cable you need on a large stage.

For those who don't know it yet, a guitar cable longer than roughly 10 feet (3m) is the first cause of signal loss due to the inherent cable capacitance and the antenna effect which actually transforms your cable in an antenna capturing and sending all sorts of interferences to the upper units in the PA.

Lovepedal claims that Mini Buffer 3 is the tool you need for "cleaning" up and even boosting your signal even in longer effect-runs so it reaches the combo or mixing desk in a condition much closer to its original shape.

Finally, it is all hand made and tested in the US and it comes in an epoxy powder coated metal case, with LED status and 9V DC power inlet and will draw 2 things from you: first of all, an almost unnoticed 3mA current from your powerbrick and 119 US Dollars from your pocket. Nevertheless, I am thinking of buying one...
